L'attuario costruisce e valuta prodotti finanziari e assicurativi, effettua analisi statistiche e realizza e certifica i bilanci delle imprese di assicurazione, dei fondi pensione e delle casse di previdenza, effettua la valutazione patrimoniale ed economica di aziende pubbliche e private, fornisce consulenze tecniche per Tribunali e Preture.
    The professional specializing in statistics, mathematics, probability and financial theory applied to the study of future and uncertain events. The actuary builds and evaluates financial and insurance products, produces statistical analysis, prepares and certifies financial statements of insurance companies, pension funds and pension schemes, executes assessment of financial standing and performance of public and private companies, provides technical advice to courts.
