    Responsable de la mise en œuvre de spectacles pyrotechniques. En fonction du certificat de qualification dont le pyrotechnicien en chef dispose, il peut assurer la responsabilité de la mise en œuvre de tous (niveau 2) ou de la plupart (niveau 1) des artifices de divertissement (détails dans l'arrêté IOCA1012736A du 31 mai 2010, article 28). Le responsable de la mise en œuvre de spectacles pyrotechniques supervise toutes les activités de montage, de tir et de démontage des artifices de divertissement composant le spectacle pyrotechnique que les pyrotechniciens exécutent.
