    Description of activities:

    Ha conoscenze nella Genetica Medica e nel Laboratorio di Genetica Medica, diagnostica le malattie genetiche,dà informazioni per il loro inquadramento,controllo,prevenzione; assiste altri specialisti nel riconoscimento, diagnosi e gestione di queste malattie e dei risultati d’analisi di laboratorio per la loro diagnosi. Conosce le basi biologiche di malattie genetiche, cromosomiche, geniche e complesse, a larga componente genetica. Conosce le discipline propedeutiche, con particolare riguardo alla genetica, alla biologia, alla biochimica e alla statistica, ha conoscenze specifiche in patologie eredo-familiari e genetiche, di mutazione somatica, nella consulenza genetica e nelle attività del laboratorio di genetica medica in ambito citogentico, molecolare e immunogenetico, finalizzate alle applicazioni cliniche in ambito diagnostico, prognostico e di trattamento. Effettua attività di consulenza genetica.


    Has knowledge of Medical Genetics and Laboratory of Medical Genetics, diagnosis of genetic diseases, gives information on their classification, control, prevention; assists other specialists in the recognition, diagnosis and management of these diseases and the results of laboratory tests for their diagnosis. Knows the biological bases of genetic, chromosomal, gene and complex diseases with a large genetic component. Knows the preparatory disciplines concerning genetic diseases, with particular regard to genetics, biology, biochemistry and statistics, possesses specific knowledge in hereditary-familial and genetic disorders, somatic mutation, genetic counseling and laboratory activities in the field of medical genetics in the cytogentic, molecular and immunogenetic area aimed at clinical applications in diagnostics, prognosis and treatment .
