    a) elabora, anche in équipe multidisciplinare, la definizione del programma di riabilitazione per l'individuazione ed il superamento del bisogno di salute del disabile; b) pratica autonomamente attività terapeutica per rieducazione funzionale delle disabilità motorie, psicomotorie e cognitive utilizzando terapie fisiche, manuali, massoterapiche e occupazionali; c) propone l'adozione di protesi ed ausili, ne addestra all'uso e ne verifica l'efficacia; d) verifica le rispondenze della metodologia riabilitativa attuata agli obiettivi di recupero funzionale. Se specializzato nel settore della psicomotricità e della terapia occupazionale può: a) svolgere assistenza riabilitativa sia psichica che fisica di soggetti in età evolutiva con deficit neurosensoriale o psichico; b) operare nella traduzione funzionale della motricità residua, al fine dello sviluppo di compensi funzionali alla disabilità.
