    L'ambulancier ou l'ambulancière assurent les soins préhospitaliers d'urgence de façon autonome, ou en collaboration avec d'autres professionnels de la santé et du sauvetage. Placés sous la responsabilité d'un médecin pour tout acte médical, les ambulanciers s'occupent de patients en situation d'urgence ou transportent ceux qui ne peuvent rejoindre un centre de soins par leurs propres moyens.
    Translation(s):
    The paramedic take care from patients before the hospitalisation. The work autonomously or with other health professionals. They have to be supervised by a doctor for any medical act. They are in charge of the patient in emergency situations or transport persons unable to reach a care center by themselves. (EN)
