Single Market Forum

Single Market Forum

The Single Market Forum gathers market participants such as businesses, social partners, non-governmental organisations, citizens’ organisations, public authorities at various levels of government, and parliaments. It examines the state of the Single Market, the transposition and application of directives, and exchanges best practice. The Forum contributes to policy evaluations and plays a part in monitoring the implementation of the Single Market Act and its impact at grassroots level.

The Single Market Forum began as 3-day event in 2011 before being expanded to a week in 2012, a month in 2013 and a year-long series of stakeholder workshops in 2014.
