Calypso workshop: Implementing Calypso - Four Projects, Four Target Groups
Published on: 25/11/2014
The first Calypso Workshop was held in Vuokatti, Finland, in collaboration with the Kainuu Region and Able Access for All Exchange (AAAE) - one of the projects awarded Calypso co-financing.
Event date: 14/06/2011 to 15/06/2011

This event was the first Calypso meeting in 2011. Considerable attention was given to the four projects that were launched in March 2011 through the 2010 Call for Proposals.

Four workshop sessions were held, one on each of the Calypso projects. The results of the workshops can be found in the final report (below).

The meeting was primarily attended by Finnish and European associations, stakeholders, and EU countries involved in social tourism issues. The Calypso Group of Experts also participated.

The meeting was held back-to-back with IMMODI, a European Territorial Cooperation project dealing with e-health and e-government services. A discussion on how to coordinate between different co-financed projects followed, since a joint session was organised on the 15 June. This meeting was organised by the Finnish Kainuu Etu Region, in collaboration with the European Commission.
