As a number of cases notified through RASFF concern imports, training on RASFF is open to the national authority staff of non-EU countries, that verifies food and feed safety. It aims to improve food controls and discuss the setting up of similar systems in other regions.

The Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) is a network covering European Economic Area countries, the Commission and the European Food Safety Authority. Its members exchange information through it in the case of health risks and response measures.
