The Commission training targets national authority staff of EU and candidate countries, responsible for evaluating and registering PPP, the control of their use and marketing.

Active ingredients must comply with EU rules if they are to be authorised for use in PPP. The EU has laid down conditions with which EU countries must evaluate and control the substances they have authorised respect to check compliance with authorisation conditions and labelling requirements.
