"Better Training for Safer Food" is a training programme on food and feed safety, animal health and animal welfare, and plant health. The courses are delivered in EU and non-EU countries, targeting the staff of competent authorities dealing with official controls from EU and select non-EU countries.

• Control of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza and other animal diseases
• EU food standards
• Food testing and sanitary and phytosanitary issues
• Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed and introducing a similar system in other regions of the world
• Analysis of Genetically Modified Organisms
