The Commission offers training courses in analytical techniques at EU-accredited laboratories. The training is for non-EU country technicians involved in food testing.

Apparently, many developing countries do not fulfil EU food testing requirements. That is often due to control weaknesses, and leads to sanitary and phyto-sanitary trade concerns.
