Calls for Tender

These calls concern the organisation, management and implementation of a Community training programme mainly focused on the areas of food and feed safety, animal health and animal welfare, as well as plant health. The training activities, to be carried out in both the EU and third countries, are in particular aimed at staff of competent authorities of Member States, candidate and associated countries involved in official controls and participants from selected third countries.

The development of the training activities for 2008 is partly based on the launch, in 2007, of calls for tender. The calls are aimed at concluding contracts for the organisation, management and implementation of training activities for national competent authority staff involved in the verification of compliance with food and feed law, animal health and welfare rules and plant health rules. Details of the calls for tender related to training activities to take place in 2009 will be published here from mid-2008.
