The seminar co-organised by the European Union and the FAO had the objective to enhance participation of Eastern European countries in the work of Codex Alimentarius. Codex Alimentarius seminar "Effective Participation in Codex" 27 – 29 Sept. 2011, Moscow The Commission and the FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia are organising a 3-day seminar for officials responsible for Codex Alimentarius issues under the Better Training for Safer Food Programme. The programme aims to enhance participants' capacity to contribute to Codex meetings through better prepared national positions. Fifty participants from 13 countries in Europe and Central Asia will take part.
