  • Codex Alimentarius Seminar "Effective Participation in Codex", 27 – 29 September 2011 in Moscow
    The seminar was well received by all participants coming from 13 countries of the Eastern Europe Region. The seminar co-organised by the European Union and the FAO had the objective to enhance participation of Eastern European countries in the work of Codex Alimentarius.


  • Codex Alimentarius seminar "Effective Participation in Codex"
    27 – 29 Sept. 2011, Moscow

    The Commission and the FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia are organising a 3-day seminar for officials responsible for Codex Alimentarius issues under the Better Training for Safer Food Programme.

    The programme aims to enhance participants' capacity to contribute to Codex meetings through better prepared national positions.

    Fifty participants from 13 countries in Europe and Central Asia will take part.

  • Good progress of the CCFH Codex physical working groups hosted by the European Union in Grange (Ireland) from 11 – 15 July 2011. Codex documents on "Microbiological Criteria" and "Control of Specific Zoonotic Parasites in Meat" are published now on the Codex Web Page.
