Food Contaminants - Fusarium-Toxins

Legislation:

Community maximum limits for Fusarium toxins (deoxynivalenol, zearalenone, fumonisins B1and B2 and T-2 and HT-2 toxin) in cereals and cereal-based products have been established by Commission Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006.

Provisions for methods of sampling and analysis for the official control of fusarium-toxins are laid down in Commission Regulation (EC) No 401/2006.

Commission Recommendation 2006/583/EC of 17 August 2006 on the prevention and reduction of Fusarium toxins in cereals and cereal products.
