Laying Hens

- A baseline study has been carried out by the Member States between October 2004 and September 2005, in order to estimate across the EU the prevalence of Salmonella spp. in flocks of laying hens (Gallus gallus) for table egg production at the end of their production period. The results shall be used to set Community targets.
