Regulation (EC)
1829/2003 of the European Parliament and
of the Council on genetically modified food
and feed was adopted on 22 September 2003.
For feed, the Regulation establishes criteria
for evaluating the potential risks,
harmonised procedures for risk assessment and
authorisation as well as provisions for the
labelling of feed consisting of and
containing GMOs and produced from GMOs.

which has benefited from a favourable risk
