Aim of the group

• Advise the Commission on issues relating to animal health legislation, its implementation and policy development;
• Exchange information, experience and good practice on animal health covered by EU legislation.

Tasks

• Assist the Commission in defining policy and preparing legislation or delegated acts;
• Give expertise on implementing EU legislation, programmes and policies, on coordination with EU countries and stakeholders.
