Kalandustoodete turg

Kalandustööstus kujutab endast palju enamat kui pelgalt kalapüüki. Kaluri võrku jäänud saagi ja tarbija taldrikul oleva toidu vahele jääb terve tegevuste ahel.

Ühine kalanduspoliitika hõlmab kõiki etappe.

  • ELi turukorralduskava (ehk turu ühine korraldus) aitab vähendada tarnete ja hindade puhul tekkivaid erinevusi. See on kasulik kaluritele, töötlemisettevõtetele ja tarbijatele.
  • ELi turukorralduskava alusel kuuluvad kalandusettevõtjad mitmetes piirkondades tootjaorganisatsioonidesse, mis kavandavad tootmist ja arendavad turustrateegiaid.
  • Komisjon teeb sidusrühmadega koostööd märgistamise küsimuses, et anda tarbijatele õiget teavet ja tagada kalatoodete täielik jälgitavus.
  • Väliskaubanduse soodustamine on väga oluline osa ELi kalandustööstuse suhetest ülejäänud maailmaga. EL on suurim kalatoodete turg maailmas.
  • Kõik ELis müüdavad kalatooted peavad vastama karmidele toiduhügieenistandarditele.
