Tehnični ukrepi
Tehnični ukrepi zajemajo celo vrsto pravil, ki urejajo način ribolovain opredelitev območij ribolova (v nasprotju s količino ulova (ribiški napor) in/ali ulovom (celotni dovoljeni ulov in kvote).
Tehnični ukrepi zajemajo:
- najmanjše velikosti za iztovarjanje;
- najmanjše velikosti mrežnih očes;
- določitev zaprtih območij in ribolovnih sezon;
- omejitve količine prilova (ulovi neželenih ali neciljnih vrst);
- zahteve glede uporabe selektivnejšega ribolovnega orodja (za zmanjšanje neželenega prilova);
- ukrepi za preprečevanje škode morskemu okolju.
Tehnični ukrepi se po morskih regijah glede na lokalne razmere močno razlikujejo.
