| On the basis of what criteria the data introduction was performed ? | The English version of the Official Journal was the primary Master.Then the other linguistic versions were analysed to pin down the spelling/alphabet differences in the Names/Last Names/Nicknames/Arabic numbers/Birth date. The fields Addresses/Remarks are only in English |
| Why are there sometimes names and aliases repeated several times? | At the time that you viewed the XML files, there was a missing attribute: Linguistic version. Indeed solely for the fields under Names and aliases, the different linguistic versions of a name/last name/nickname were introduced. |
Why are there different font styles (uppercase/lowercase) |
As underlined in the on-line help file (section How was handled the data), the Official Journal lists were introduced into the database by copying and pasting them (field by field). The expert teams did not “touch” the data. Therefore, what you have in the e-list is what you have in the Official Journal. |

| Problem with the “reserved” characters like “&” | It has been resolved. They will be replaced by their “HTML” coding and not removed as we have to produce the exact copy of the OJ content. In order to avoid that your DBMS picks up these characters you have to produce a specific parser. |
