According to the Annual report of BHC, the situation of human rights worsens or remains at alarmingly low level in many areas, especially the independence of the judiciary, freedom of expression, the right to religious freedom of Muslims and the situation in places of detention. As in previous years, there are serious problems with the rights of children in institutions, excessive use of force by law enforcement officials, asylum, discrimination against ethnic and sexual minorities, women, disabled and other vulnerable categories of citizens.
