Le Fonds Delhaize Group a précisément pour but de soutenir les projets favorisant la cohésion sociale dans les communautés locales. Le Fonds souhaite de cette façon contribuer à améliorer le bien-être et le vivre-ensemble des habitants d’un quartier ou d’un village. Cette année, le Fonds mettra 150.000 € à la disposition de projets.
C’est pourquoi le Fonds lance un appel aux projets qui s’attachent à stimuler les relations entre des personnes de générations différentes, de cultures variées et de milieux socio-économiques divers, à favoriser l’intégration des personnes, à promouvoir l’égalité entre les hommes et les femmes, à favoriser l’alphabétisation, à lutter contre l’isolement, etc. à l’exception des projets d’épiceries sociales.
