Slovak-Czech Working Seminar on Pro-migration Activism
(Communication - Slovaquie - Multilingual) (Traduction non officielle)
The Slovak-Czech Working Seminar on Pro-migration Activism will be held on Monday 22nd April 2013 in Bratislava. The seminar is organized by Milan Šimečka Foundation as a component of 8th Festival of New Minorities [fjúžn] in cooperation with Human Rights League and Centre for the Research of Ethnicity and Culture.
The main aim of the seminar is to map key needs, topics and good practices for promotion of measures in the field of migration and integration of foreigners in Slovakia. Another aim is to deepen international cooperation between Slovak and Czech non-governmental organizations and plan further steps forward. The impulse for the seminar arose from discussions amongst three organisations about having a more active and effective influence on the field of migration and integration advocacy in Slovakia. The Czech NGOs are more visible and active in this field.
The seminar will host about 20 participants from Slovakia and the Czech Republic from the non-governmental sector as well as from migrants active in the fields of migration and integration in Slovakia. The seminar will have a non-formal format with facilitated discussions in smaller working groups.
All interested participants should response until 18th April 2013 to email@example.com. In case of any questions please call to +421 903 921 449.
