What does it mean for migrants to die far away from home? What does it mean for professionals in care and nursing homes, in hospitals and hospices? Experts from politics, social and care services and migrant organisations discussed these issues last year at the conference 'Being far away from home at the end of life – Death and Dying in an intercultural society', which was organised by the German Humanist Association, the intercultural hospice service organisation Dong Ban Ja and the foundation Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. The documentation, which collects the lectures and discussions held during the two days conference, has now been published (pdf-download).
