Aims of the conference:

 

  • to present examples of good practises from finding of changes in attitudes towards topics such as diversity, global interconnection, sustainable development, human rights or social justice;
  • to share methods and approaches towards research of attitudes of pupils in three European countries;
  • to discuss about quality and impact of global education and multicultural education in schools.

 

 

Context of conference:

Milan Šimečka Foundation realizes international educational project Quality or quantity? Measuring of quality and impact of global education in the schools. One of the key objectives of project is to develop teacher’s competences necessary for reaching changes in attitudes of pupils. Key outcome of the first phase of the project is collection of examples of good practises which summarizes experiences of teachers in primary and secondary education. The experiences are related to impact of pedagogical activities of teachers on attitudes of children. Conference also offers space for presentation of practises and experiences of two other partner organisations – Reading International Solidarity Centre from Great Britain and People in Need from Czech Republic.
