The International Organisation for Migration as a coordinator of the national contact points of the European Migration Network (EMN) in Slovakia organizes a conference on the migration of highly qualified workers from third countries: policies and praxis, which will be held 20th November 2013 in hotel NH Gate One in Bratislava (Ambrušova 7).

The conference is targeted at government and public representatives, research institutions, think-tanks as well as representatives of the chambers of commerce, employers or other public interested in the issue of legal migration of workers from third countries.

The conferences will focus on the following topics:

 

  • Contemporary development, trends and policies in the field of international migration
  • Influence of European neighbourhood policies on the labour market of EU member states
  • Main findings and outcomes of national study EMN "Gaining highly-qualified and qualified third country nationals"
  • Panel discussion about national policies and measures other EU member states in field of labour migration

 

The conference is available in both the English and Slovak language.
