Cultural Anthropologists Society 'ETNOSFERA' in cooperation with Migration Research Centre (CeBaM) invites all interested to a conference: 'Foreigners in Greater Poland'.

The conference aims to diagnose the situation and specify the needs of foreigners living in Greater Poland. An attempt shall be made to draft possible solutions meant to improve the acculturation process, hence improving the quality of life and increasing the integration between foreigners and Poles. Furthermore, the significance of cooperation between regional non-governmental organizations and public administration with active participation of migrants is to be discussed.

The conference will take place in the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology on Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. It will be attended by the representatives of non-governmental organization acting in the benefit of intercultural dialogue, public administration and academic and migrant environments.

We want to shift the thought from purely academic considerations to more practical discussion on the abovementioned issues. The conference is open for all interested - no registration or congressional fee is required.
