(Communication - Poland - Multilingual) (Unofficial translation)

Begin 30/10/2012 - 10:00

End 30/10/2012 - 15:30

Venue Centrum Konferencyjne „Zielna”, sala „Europa”, ul. Zielna 37, Warszawa, POLAND

Organiser Instytut Spraw Publicznych - Institute of Public Affairs

Access to citizenship is an important tool for integration, however, requirements for naturalisation differ depending on currently implemented policies, history and economic situation of the country. Although some naturalisation factors are common, enlargement of the European Union has brought greater diversity in the political line towards this issue in the EU member states. In recent years many countries have decided to increase the role of naturalisation in the integration process, because it involves socio-cultural aspects of immigrant integration.

The meeting will be attended by representatives of the Polish NGOs, public administration, academia and foreign experts.
