Organisator The General Directorate of Religious Affairs
One of the phenomena that characterize most clearly our country is the growing diversity. The religious diversity is an expression of this plurality. It is not a new phenomenon, but it has recently accelerated, fueled on the one hand, by migration and on the other by a paradigm shift that all societies are facing. This implies the progressive introduction of dialogue in all spheres of life to respond to the feeling of uncertainty. The Advisory Council for Religious Diversity, advisory body in the Department of Government and Institutional Relations created in April 2011, has launched a collection of papers on matters affecting the religious sphere and its expression in public life. The purpose of these texts is to advise the Government, make recommendations and give non-binding guidelines for good management of religious diversity. This collection is also addressed to other public institutions and religious groups and the whole population. The General Directorate of Religious Affairs promotes training in religious affairs of public administration staff and in collaboration with CEFJE it organizes various activities in the legal field. The first of these is related to the dissemination of the first document prepared by the Advisory Council of Religious Diversity, entitled religious diversity in open societies.
Target: Department of Justice Staff, other Government departments and public authorities and others interested in the subject.
