WHEN invites you to attend its second network conference.
WHEN is a network bringing together people who have an interest in health/social care and ethnicity research and policy development. The network aims to use an evidence based approach to influence the development of a healthier minority ethnic community in Scotland. One of the key purposes of the network is information sharing with a view to forging new, interdisciplinary research collaborations.
Theme: This year the WHEN conference will have a focus on mental health and wellbeing.
Chair: This conference will be chaired by Dr Andrew Fraser, Director of Public Health NHS Health Scotland, and the keynote speech will be delivered by Professor Kamaldeep Bhui, Professor of Cultural Psychiatry and Epidemiology, Queen Mary University, London.
Who should attend: Anyone interested in finding out more about research taking place in the West of Scotland on health/social care and ethnicity and/or contributing to the network.
