The United Nations' sustainable development goal (SDG) 2 'Zero hunger' seeks to end hunger and malnutrition, and ensure access to safe, nutritious and sufficient food. Sustainable and resilient food production systems are a key factor in achieving this goal.

Monitoring SDG 2 in an EU context focuses on progress made in tackling malnutrition, fostering sustainable agriculture and reducing the adverse impacts of agricultural production.

How is your country doing in this regard?

Find out with our easy and user-friendly graph below. Compare your country’s progress over time and with other Member States. Choose from a range of indicators, such as the share of area under organic farming, ammonia emissions from agriculture or nitrate in groundwater.
