You might already know that Finland is a heavily-forested country (with nearly 70% of its land area covered by woodland) and that it has the lowest population density in the EU (with an average of 18 inhabitants per square kilometre). But did you know that Finland is one of the leading European Union Member States for ICT? It has the highest share of ICT specialists in employment in the EU (almost 7%) and the highest percentage of enterprises providing portable devices to their employees (94%). Its inhabitants are also very keen on culture: two-thirds (67%) have attended a live performance in the last 12 months and 1 in 7 (14%) practises an artistic activity on a daily basis, the highest levels across the EU Member States.
