This graphical visualisation displays the share of the population which reported the occurrence of crime, violence or vandalism in their area (i.e. their neighbourhood) per country.
In order to display this indicator for a specific income group (below or above 60% of median income), select the category from the drop-down list below.
The division of the total population into those who have less and those who have more than 60% of median equalised income at their disposal allows for comparision between these two groups. Persons 'below 60% of national median equivalised income' are regarded as being at risk of poverty, whilst persons 'above 60% of national median equivalised income' are regarded as not being at risk of poverty.
