Zurück Eurostat celebrates Ireland

Did you know that Ireland has the highest birth rate (13.4 babies per 1000 inhabitants) and the lowest death rate (6.4 deaths per 1000 inhabitants) in the European Union?
Ireland is also the only EU Member State where more than 40% of its households have children (40.7%).
Ireland is the EU’s second-largest exporter of whiskey after the UK and the second largest exporter of passenger air transport services after Germany.
Southern and Eastern Ireland are among the top 30 tourist regions in the EU.
The vast majority of the inhabitants of Dublin (93%) are satisfied with life in their city and 64% are satisfied with their jobs.
