Funding
EuropeAid awards grants to implement projects or activities that relate to the European Union’s external aid programmes. There are two types of grant available:
- Grants for actions which finance activities that fall under Commission-run programmes
- Operating grants to cover expenditure incurred by EU-based organisations that are carrying out work which matches EuropeAid’s interests
The Commission also offers contracting opportunities to organisations that wish to work on development aid projects. For more details consult the Funding pages. Visibility
To ensure that our work to improve people’s lives is recognised, a Communication and Visibility manual has been produced. This manual ensures that aid projects acknowledge the funding support they receive from Commission budgets. It also helps to raise the general profile of the EU across the world.
Job opportunities
From time to time, EuropeAid looks for suitable candidates to fill job vacancies at its Brussels headquarters and in it delegations around the world. The European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) arranges calls for expressions of interest.
