Technical Barriers to Trade in Africa, Caribbean and the Pacific

Technical Barriers to Trade in Africa, Caribbean and the Pacific

Evaluation Findings, Knowledge and Results Sharing from the ACP EU TBT Programme

A key issue for trade and growth of the ACP countries is connection to the Global Value Chains while meeting the high export requirements and gaining the wider market access.

The TBT Programme, supported by the EC with a budget 15 million EUR in collaboration with the ACP Secretariat, has between 2013 and 2017 implemented over 85 technical assistance  projects in favour of ACP quality infrastructure institutions and economic operators. This event will share and disseminate goods practices, concrete outputs and lessons learned from the programme management and final evaluation teams.
