Infopoint Lunchtime Conference: Social Innovation for Global Health

Infopoint Lunchtime Conference: Social Innovation for Global Health

Over the past decades great advances have been achieved by innovation in drugs, devices and vaccines but we have neglected to innovate in the delivery process. Well-intended policies and interventions have not achieved their desired outcomes due to not involving communities in creation and implementation.

The Sustainable Development Goals are calling for a new healthcare paradigm, inclusive of social, environmental and economic factors responsible for illness and that can promote well being for all. (http://healthinnovationproject.org/)
