What is an RSS feed?

An 'RSS feed' or 'News Feed' allows you to stay up to date with the latest news and documents published on a website. Rather than visit our site to see if new content has been added,RSS will alert you when new information has been added and will deliver it directly to you. By using this service you will receive a notice with the news headline at the same time as it is published on our website.

What do I need to do to read an RSS Feed?

Some of the latest versions of internet browsers are able to display RSS feeds correctly. If yours does not, then you need a news reader. However, as some news readers work on different operating systems, care should be taken to choose one that works with your computer.

You will find many freeware RSS readers for various operating systems on the web. Search for 'RSS reader', 'News reader' or 'Aggregator'. Some popular web-based feed readers include Netvibes, iGoogle, my Yahoo and newsgator (Windows - integrates with Outlook).
