If you are a group of at least 10 people interested in a topic, the Info Point will invite the European Commission officials who deal with the respective topic. They present their work and answer questions linked to the European Commission's practices in the field.

   The presentation is followed by a visit of the Info Point

The visit / information session is tailored to your group's needs in:

-topic

-duration

-language of presentation (depending on the availability of colleagues)

-availability of information material about the respective topic.

 

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Everyone who would like to know more about the European Commission's external cooperation is welcome!

 

WHERE

The visit / information session takes place in the European Commission's External Cooperation Info Point:

1049 - Brussels, Rue de la Loi, nr 43.

 

FOR EXAMPLE IN 2008...

    81 groups (2300 people) participated in an organised visit at the Info Point.

Most regular visitors were:                                                                                    

- university or high-school students,

- company representatives and NGOs, as well as

- groups of officials and regional representatives from partner countries.

Presentations during the visits were held in half of the official languages of the EU and in Russian.

Duration of the visits varied between 45 minutes and 4.5 hours.

Any other topic related the European Commission's external cooperation is open to request.

Please send your request at least 1 month in advance, specifying:

1. the topic you would like to discuss (up to three subjects)

2. in which language

3. the preferred date & time of your visit

4. characteristics of the group: number of participants, their previous knowledge about the subject and any other detail that might seem relevant to make your visit more interesting.

Please give as much detail as possible about your group's previous knowledge / background in the field.

You can expect our official confirmation within 15 working days.
