What are RSS feeds?

RSS is an abbreviation for 'Really Simple Syndication'. An RSS feed is an online file that allows the reader to see when websites have added new content and to follow the latest updates in an easy and timely way, as the feeds are automatically updated. The updates are presented in a list of short descriptions and links to the full items. RSS feeds also allow other web publishers to reuse content, syndicating it automatically.

How to subscribe to Europe 2020 feeds

The usual ways to subscribe to RSS feeds are the following:

  • Using an internet browser: many internet browsers offer the option of subscribing to RSS feeds. Click on the feed link to subscribe.
  • Using a News Reader: copy and paste the URL of the RSS feed into your News Reader. If you do not have a News Reader installed on your computer, find one by entering ‘RSS News Reader’ in a search engine. The search will return a list of news readers matching different user requirements.
