Opportunities for expert involvement

Call for Experts for Proposal Evaluation

The Commission invites individuals to apply as prospective independent experts in order to be included in its database of experts for the Seventh Framework Program. Prospective independent experts are expected to have skills and knowledge appropriate to the areas of activities in which they might be asked to assist. The EC Framework Program will be organized in five specific programs, which shall cover the following:

  • Cooperation (9 themes: health; food, agriculture and biotechnology; information technologies; nanosciences, materials and production technologies; energy; environment; transport; social and economic sciences; space; and security).
  • Ideas
  • People
  • Capacities
  • Non-nuclear actions of the Joint Research Centre.

The Euratom Framework program will be organized in two specific programs, which shall cover the following:

  • Fusion energy research, nuclear fission and radiation protection
  • Nuclear energy activities of the Joint Research Centre

Call for Experts to Assist the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT)

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) has published a call to establish a database of prospective independent experts to assist the institute with tasks in connection with the evaluation and implementation of Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs).
Applications from high level professionals are expected in a number of areas of expertise such as management of innovation, IPR and patenting, research, innovation in higher education etc.
