EURAXESS Links Singapore
EURAXESS Links is a networking tool for European researchers in Singapore, and for Singaporean researchers with an interest in Europe. It provides information about European research, opportunities for research funding, for international collaboration and for transnational mobility. Membership is free.
Collaboration opportunities
In a knowledge-based and globalised economies, such as the EU, international cooperation is essential. The European Commission's FP7 is open to, and encourages, the participation of foreign research entities, including from Singapore. The policies of the EU focuses increasingly on collaborative research, both within the EU and with external partners. Thus, the excellence and the similar approach to R&D of Singapore, makes it a natural ally of the EU.

- Royal Society Research Professorship
This scheme is for world-class scientists who would benefit from a period of long-term support to allow them to focus on research and collaboration based at an institution in the UK.
The Professorships may be awarded in any field across the natural sciences. Applicants can be of any nationality, and applications are particularly welcomed from scientists currently resident outside the UK.

This scheme is for scientists in the UK who want to undertake a collaboration with scientists overseas through either a one-off visit or bilateral travel. The 2012/R2 is now open for applications and closes on 18th June 2012. The 2012/R3 will open on 23rd July 2012 and will close on 18th October 2012.

- Singapore NRF Fellowship
The Singapore National Research Foundation (NRF) Fellowship Scheme is a globally competitive programme to attract, recruit and root young scientists and researchers to conduct independent research in Singapore.
The Singapore NRF Fellowship is open to all areas of science and technology. Outstanding young scientists and researchers of all nationalities are welcomed to apply.
The call is now open and will close on 15 August 2012.
