Careers and Funding

Euraxess Links Japan aims to be a comprehensive service to support mobility, collaboration and exchange between Europe and Japan.

To that end, we provide funding and grant information for:

  • Researchers wishing to travel to or visit Japan from Europe,
  • Researchers wishing to return to or visit Europe from Japan,
  • Researchers looking to locate funding opportunities in Japan,
  • Researchers seeking to collaborate with partners either in Europe or Japan.

Our newsletter highlights around 20 calls in each of these areas every month. Please subscribe for this newsletter on the link to your right, or by sending an email. This Newsletter is distributed on the 15th of every month.

Since 2010, we have been producing a Funding Guide Booklet that aims to provide  a comprehensive list of all the relevant schemes.

This booklet is intended to be used as a stand alone document to introduce the various schemes that exist to support mobility, research collaboration, research exchange and relations between Europe and Japan, enabling researchers to scan the range of schemes and quickly be able to grasp the key essentials of each programme.

It also serves as a very useful handbook to identify schemes to highlight in the monthly newsletters distributed through Euraxess Links Japan. The information conveyed in this booklet helps in the preparation of this newsletter and as such is in regular use throughout the year.
