EURAXESS Links India is an information and networking tool for researchers from Europe or researchers with an interest in European research. Membership is free – join the community now!
The objective of the EURAXESS Links India homepage is to provide useful information to researchers based in India. The service is supported by the Delegation of the European Union to India and was launched in 2010.
These pages seek to provide public and the private sector researchers with:
- The latest news on science, technology and research developments in the European Union and in India
- Funding, collaboration and career information
- Information on upcoming EURAXESS events
- Access to other research related information
On the right hand side of this page, you can find a link to our membership pages. To access these you have to become a member of EURAXESS Links India, which is free of charge (to join EURAXESS Links India community click on the New User link to your right). On the membership pages you can contact and engage with other researchers, be directly contacted by us, as well as obtain targeted information on research in Europe and in India.
Further, there is a monthly EURAXESS India newsletter. This can also be delivered directly to your e-mail inbox.
These pages provide an essential service to researchers associated to Europe, but active in India. We hope that they will be of use to you in developing your research career.

In February and March 2012, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Research Foundation (DFG) and Fraunhofer join forces and organise events to present German innovation and research in India. Call for Projects - Personnel Exchange Programme (PEP)
The Personnel Exchange Programme (PEP) aims at connecting ongoing research projects in India and Switzerland. Funding will be offered only for travel and living costs. It is expected that all other costs for the exchange projects will be already available to both sides from other sources. PEP grants should include several young researchers and scientists from each side. A concrete and sound research plan is required.

The "la Caixa" Foundation initiated in 2008 a fellowship programme to offer outstanding students from all over the world the chance of taking a PhD in Biomedicine at the CRG (Centre for Genomic Regulation) This year, 10 four-year fellowships are offered to do a PhD in Biomedicine at the CRG.
The "la Caixa" Foundation is a non-profitmaking organisation, which receives its funding from the third biggest financial entity in Spain, the Caja de Ahorros y Pensiones de Barcelona, "la Caixa". In terms of budget and business volume, the "la Caixa" Foundation is among the ten most important Foundations in the world.
