About EURAXESS Links
EURAXESS Links is a networking tool for European researchers working outside Europe and non-European ones wishing to collaborate and/or pursue a research career in Europe. It has thus far been launched in the USA (soon becoming the "North-America" hub), Japan, China, India, the ASEAN hub encompassing Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, and has just been opened in Brazil. EURAXESS Links provides information about research in Europe, European research policy, opportunities for research funding, for international collaboration and for trans-national mobility. Membership is free.
MoreEuropean R&D Framework Programme
The Seventh Framework Program is the European Union's main instrument for research funding. It directs more than 54 billion Euros over 7 years (2007-2013) for research, technological development and demonstration activities. The remainder of the research is funded by public and private sources in the individual countries. FP7 is the natural successor to the 6th Framework Program, and is the result of years of consultation with the scientific community, research and policy making institutions, and other interested parties.
