Collaboration opportunities
China and Europe research cooperation has been strengthened through the signing of a cooperation agreement in 1998. In both the European Union and China significant efforts and expenditure are dedicated towards research activities in a wide range of fields. Mutually benefiting cooperation between European and Chinese researchers is encouraged and can be implemented through various tools.

Open call - NSFC International Young Scientists Fellowship
These fellowships are for international young researchers to work in a Chinese university or research institute. The deadline for the first round of recommendation is 15 February, 2012.

Chinese Government Scholarship Scheme
Scholarships for foreign students, postdocs and scholars in China. Application documents should be forwarded to CSC by April 30th, 2012, via either the Chinese diplomatic mission in the applicant’s home country or the embassy of the applicant’s home country in China.
