    The European Commission is launching a call for proposals to provide early-stage support to European SME and Start-Ups in recruiting up to 90 post-doctoral research associates to explore innovative business ideas.

    Overcome barriers for EU SMEs and Start-ups to the recruitment of highly qualified specialists (PhD holder or equivalent) that cannot be recruited on the national job market (being absent or not affordable), but whose knowledge would be crucial to open up opportunities for innovation and significant growth for the enterprise.

  • Call for participants Indo-UK Workshop: Clean Water through Advanced and Affordable Materials, Chennai India, 8-10 August 2016

    Under the Researcher Links scheme offered within the Newton Fund, the British Council, we will be holding a workshop on Water for Life in Chennai, India on 8-10 August 2016.

    The workshop is being coordinated by Dr David Jenkins (Plymouth University, UK) and Dr Vasanthakumari (BS Abdur Rahman University, Chennai, India), and will have contributions from other leading researchers. We are now inviting Early Career Researchers from the UK or India to apply to attend this workshop.All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Newton Researcher Links programme.
