EURAXESS Jobs CV and Job Database

The Specific e-Service
The EURAXESS Jobs will provide information about the largest possible number of fellowships and grants from public and private organisations at international, European, national, regional and local level which are accessible, in a commonly agreed format on both the EURAXESS Jobs and the information provider's portal or web-site.
It will also guarantee access via the EURAXESS Jobs CV and Job database to a variety of research job vacancies from other sources through the implementation of inter-operational protocols. Moreover, it will provide, whenever possible, information about issues related to national regulations, administrative and cultural issues relevant to researchers and their family members when moving from one country to another, as well as about policy issues relevant to mobile researchers.
What personal information do we collect, for what purpose
and through which technical means?
Identification Data
The portal collects personal information related to Researchers' experience and educational background. No other personal data are requested (except an e-mail address for contact purposes).
The main purpose is to provide researchers with the possibility of posting their own CV in the Researcher's Mobility Portal CV and job database thus providing a structured and confidential way of showing the CV to registered organisations. This database offers automatic matching between registered CVs and posted research job vacancies according to detailed and selected parameters. To contact the Controller responsible for the processing, please use this address: RTD-RMP@ec.europa.eu
Technical information
Data are stored in a database located in the Data Centre of the European Commission. Data access is protected by an authentication mechanism. The access to the service is made available through the EUROPA Web servers also located in the Data Centre, where the application is hosted.
Who has access to your information and to whom is it disclosed?
Information is made available, for searching only, to organisations and institutes registered with the EURAXESS Jobs and verified by the site administrator acting on behalf of the Controller. The service is completely free of charge and it may not be used for any form of commercial advertising. Information on researchers seeking a job vacancy or on registered organisations will not be made available for market development on a commercial basis.
How do we protect and safeguard your information?
Only registered and accepted organisations can browse researchers' CVs. These organisations can access the portal using their own password-protected accounts.
How can you verify, modify or delete your information?
After insertion of a CV in the EURAXESS Jobs database, data is always available to researchers for modification. To this end it is sufficient to connect to the portal using a password-protected personal account and modify or update a CV. CVs can be removed from the system by clicking on the delete your CV button on the personal page. Confirmation is asked before deletion. Data are periodically controlled for correctness and completeness; researchers will be asked by e-mail to update their CV.
How long do we keep your data?
CVs which have not been modified in the preceding year are removed from the system. There is no archiving of deleted CVs.
