The College of Engineering is offering a ‘Women in Engineering’ scholarship, as part of its commitment to the Athena SWAN Charter.
Athena SWAN is an initiative run by the Equality Challenge Unit which recognises the advancement of gender equality in terms of representation, progression and success for all. A key aim of the Charter is to address unequal gender imbalance across academic disciplines.
The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition fees for full-time MSc, MSc by Research, and MRes courses within the College of Engineering, including the Sports Science MSc by Research programme
Women expecting or holding a 1st class or high 2.1 class honours degree in a relevant subject area (engineering, mathematics, physical sciences) are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must hold an offer to study on an eligible full-time MSc, MSc by Research, or MRes course within the College of Engineering at Swansea University commencing in September 2016.
Due to funding restrictions, this scholarship is open to UK/EU students only.

Early stage researcher or 0-4 yrs (Post graduate)
First Stage Researcher (R1)
The scholarship covers the full tuition fee for the 12 month course.
