Experimental Psychologist

Responsibilities:

Planning and carrying out research projects on cognitive, affective, and neuronal mechanisms of aesthetic language processing (in cooperation with literary scholars of literature, linguists, neuroscientists and psychologists)

Description

Your qualifications:

PhD in psychology 

Interest / knowledge in empirical aesthetics, specifically regarding language 

Expertise in designing and conducting experiments, as well as acquiring and analysing behavioral and electrophysiological data 

Very good command of stimulus presentation software 

Good programming skills in Matlab, Python, or R are advantegeous 

Very good command of the English language

Salary dependent on professional expertise according German Entgeltgruppe 13 TVöD Bund (Salary range: € 42.900 - € 62.000 PA) plus social benefits. 

Five-year contract (renewable)
